Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His silver hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Balimaar embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Tim lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Glassblower.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Glassblower responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Anthony was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Anthony's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. After a long history of fighting, Hubert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and balancing his hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult
