When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

After coming to the age of reason, Gerald took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Adam enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Adam was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Adam decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with.
