Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Adventurer father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Diggory hails from a village terrorized by illithids. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gilbert studied abroad. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Hubert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
