History: He was born in the north. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aldous fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He carries a battered bow and tarnished sickle as well. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Balimaar was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Barkeep. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His hair is brown and curly. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a Unemployed first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He worked as a nervous Unemployed and found it very stressful. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: With blue face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. His chestnut hair is knotted and matted. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
