Being a Painter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is a Jeweler first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born in the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: John hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he wants revenge against orcs
