He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: Lance hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Gifted from a young age, Lance studied abroad. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He became a Detective soon after.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom

Description: He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his shortspear, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His auburn hair is lengthy. He has gray eyes.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
