His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Hugh never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

His first spouse was a Bowyer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
