Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Alex grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Alex. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Heward's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Heward is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a Miller, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
