History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of a Sailor, who enjoyed hunting, Percival was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Simon hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Merchant and found it very stressful. He struck the Merchant job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
