History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Bernard was a troubled youth. Bernard decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Gifted from a young age, Aldous studied abroad. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He now mingles about in high society.

He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Lance took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greatsword and armor he uses now. He bought a greatsword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
