History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Marshal father left him crippled. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shane embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Shane reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Adelard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shoemaker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Navigator, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a tight fitting white shirt and pants. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and regain custody of his son

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he is dressed in an above average manner. His hair is always cut to a buzz. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Kody was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to prove his worth to the world
