History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Heward took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
