Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Geoffrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Patrick hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Patrick alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears skinny pants and wears a blue and black robe with the hood down. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Healer. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'6". He has the majority of his body covered in plate. He has shaved his head bald. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. The war was a terrible time for him, and Simon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears just a red suit. Sporting a auburn mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Dustin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
