History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nicholas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Thomas was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bookbinder. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Theodoric liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
