History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Dean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born in the west. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He typically wears tan cloth garments or leather armor. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his youth he was a Bellfounder, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a worn and beaten armor. He keeps his chestnut hair in a pixie cut. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
