History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Roland was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Roland decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
