His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Norman never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to share knowledge with the world

History: Born in the north to a Ruler, Gerald learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
