History: The child of a Miner, who enjoyed hunting, Simon was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears baggy black pantaloons and a brown scarf. His chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Patrick speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Patrick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has a long brown beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Detective born in the past three hundred years. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Guy liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire.
