History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A freak accident while working with his Doctor mother left him crippled. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born in the north. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Percival fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wants to work out more often

Description: With tan face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He sports a long chestnut beard, and similarly colored long hair. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Raymond was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.
