History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Description: This man dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He keeps his blonde hair in a flapper bob. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Alex isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Alex was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to clean up the streets

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears an entirely blue suit with brown socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a Healer soon after.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to be a bookbinder again
