Personality: Patrick is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Patrick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Gifted from a young age, Shane studied abroad. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and retire the richest man in the east

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A gifted student he started as a Fisher, but he got bored and became a Healer. He has worked as a Healer like his mother before him.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Odo embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
