Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Alex was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Alex decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Scribe profession.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Scribe, but he got bored and became a Engraver. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His chestnut hair is cut short. His green eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: Born in the south to a Bellfounder, Roland learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bellfounder for hire.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and to be a spy again

Description: This light-skinned male dresses in yellow turtlenecks beneath a white coat with violet slacks. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Soapmaker born in the past three hundred years. He is an amazing painter.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.
Motivation: To end his boredom; and to be a bowyer again

Description: An older man who wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat, he is not a threatening figure. He has no hair. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Priest arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
