When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Gilbert was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.
