History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At some point he was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Gifted from a young age, Robert studied abroad. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Born in the south to a Miner, Balimaar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He's also a talented Herbalist, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
