History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Born to a Miner, his father struggled to pay the bills. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
