History: He was born into a rich family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: This tall, slender man has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his pastel robe. He has moderate length white hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. A true patriot, Charles would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: The child of a Marshal, who enjoyed hunting, Robert was taken on many hunting expeditions. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has achieved small success as a Mayor.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His golden hair is cut short. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Engraver profession.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Roofer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
