Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. His hair is blonde and curly. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears rags and sports a simple walking cane, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His silver hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a skull scrunchie. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Being a Fortune-teller kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact
