Description: This man stands a little under 5'9" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His long white hair reaches down to his waist. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his small black hat.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young John began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a black Stetson hat and black clothes. His white hair is matted, messy, and big. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Balimaar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balimaar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a black coat with white slacks. He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length golden hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: Alex was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: Bernard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and to reunite with his old friends
