Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light white in addition to tight pants. He has no hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Bookbinder. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is dressed in earthy colors with a white and blue handkerchief worn on his right side. His auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are green.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: Gunter lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a blue shirt, with a green mid length shorts with green tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. He wears his blonde hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes are brown and beady.
Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: Born to a Soapmaker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a simple green robe with brown stripes complete with hood. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.
Personality: Jocelyn speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is unsatisfied with his job
