History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gilbert was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a white vest and prefers brown and yellow shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down and is in decent physical shape. His hair is short and silver. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Chad was born with his father's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
