History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. Shane was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Carter mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
