After coming to the age of reason, Kyle took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Knight profession.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Human compassion; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Armorer. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Dean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Crown-heir, but he got bored and became a Armorer. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to unite with his brother

Description: This tall, slender man tends to wear a green poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His brown hair is thinning but still full. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He became a Healer soon after.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: He wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a sword, but if one is not available he will default to his nunchaku. He carries a battered sword and tarnished nunchaku as well. His moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his small blue hat.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.
