History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He keeps his brown hair in a flapper bob. His violet eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Miles lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against brigands

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. He has done his best to style his golden hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes are green and beady.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
