History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Manfred alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Conrad was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and many dire rats want him driven away

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bather. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wishes to resurrect an old love
