He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Raymond grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Robert was born with his father's beautiful face. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Peter was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barkeep. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Barkeep responsibilities is difficult; and to be a layabout again
