Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Dilettante born in the past three hundred years. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. A gifted student he started as a Ploughman, but he got bored and became a Dilettante. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and balancing his hectic life and new dilettante responsibilities is difficult

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortbow.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears suspenders and black workpants. His shirt is red, and he wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time. His blonde hair is long and unkept. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Don hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Don was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Don decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.

Description: Standing 5'8", this man wears tan trousers with brown and green striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His hair is short and white. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
