Personality: Norman wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Miner soon after.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and many brigands want him driven away

Description: This late middle aged man wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a red coat and is in decent physical shape. His silver hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Alex wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Alex is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and many illithids want him driven away

Description: This eastern man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His clothes are grease stained in places. His tied-back hair is black. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barkeep hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is wracked by social anxiety
