Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bernard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Bernard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bernard decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. With bright silver hair and a scraggly beard. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Nicholas is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born to a Bather, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
