History: Cory hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Through the years after Cory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has money and likes to spend it
