History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. After coming to the age of reason, Robert took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theobald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and doesn't want to be a locksmith and was forced into it by his family

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Beggar they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
