Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by drow. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'10" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. He has a very tight haircut. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He takes great joy in being the best Layabout in town.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
