History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after John was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. John's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
