History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Charles took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.
