History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

A true patriot, Gerard would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now mingles about in high society.
