When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born to a Sage, his father struggled to pay the bills. His childhood dream was to be a Sage, but he was a colossal failure. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born into a rich family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and he is greedy

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature dagger.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
