History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gilbert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Wymar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to pay off his debts
