Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Being a Carter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
