History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Dustin was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his painting dream.
