History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bounty Hunter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Blacksmith arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nicholas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
