History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
